This is an opportunity to be a key player in the development of a whole new level of technical architect for this high profile New Zealand organisation. An ideal role for an enthusiastic team player who thrives within a fast-paced ever-evolving environment and possesses a passion for development and innovation.

It will involve:

  • The assessment of, and recommendations on the utilisation of new technologies
  • Taking ownership of challenges and providing solutions
  • Mentoring and leading virtual teams
  • Continual adaptation to change
  • Acting as liaison point with third party suppliers across all levels of technology and consultancy

Ideally, you will have a very strong development background accompanied by formal qualifications in Microsoft Technologies, and which has led into a “hands on” Team Lead role. Your background will include involvement in the scoping and architecture of technology projects, with an emphasis upon assessing and utilising new technologies. Previous experience with SAP or a similar ERP package, in addition to your Microsoft knowledge is a definite advantage as would a background where you have been involved in the IT side of retailing and/or warehousing and distribution.
